PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Chị Ánh IELTS handles information when you visit the site, create an account, practise IELTS, submit writing, or purchase access.

1. Information we collect

We collect account information supplied through Clerk, including your Clerk user identifier, name and email address. A profile image may also be available through the identity provider and Clerk.

When you use the learning service, we store practice attempts including answers, scores, estimated band results, test details, mode, time spent and timestamps. Writing submissions may include your Task 1 and Task 2 responses, word counts, grading status, band and criteria scores, feedback, grader identifier and grading time.

  • Account identity and profile information
  • Reading and Listening practice history and results
  • Writing submissions and human-grading records
  • Order, access and discount-redemption information

2. How we use information

We use information to authenticate users, provide practice and writing-grading features, show learning history and results, administer paid access and grading credits, verify payment outcomes, and help protect the reliability and security of the service.

3. Authentication and social login

Clerk provides the site’s account and session service. If you choose Facebook or Google sign-in in Clerk, the information made available to Chị Ánh IELTS is governed by the sign-in connection and the permissions you approve. The application synchronizes the account identifier, name and email address needed for its profile record; it does not claim access beyond the configured sign-in information.

4. Payments

One-time paid access is initiated through payOS. The application stores order and entitlement information such as order code, selected plan and scope, duration, amounts, discount amount, payment status, payment-link identifiers or URLs, and payment references supplied through the verified payOS flow. The application does not collect or store your card or bank credentials in its database; payment and banking details are handled by payOS during checkout.

5. Service providers

The codebase uses Clerk for identity and sessions, Supabase for application database and storage services, and payOS for payment processing. The site is deployed to Vercel. Facebook and Google may process sign-in information when you choose their respective sign-in options through Clerk.

6. Cookies and browser storage

Clerk uses authentication and session cookies to provide signed-in sessions. The site stores your language choice in a first-party “locale” cookie. Theme preference is handled by the installed theme provider. No analytics or advertising tracker was identified in the application code at the time this policy was prepared.

7. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information handled by the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Data retention

The current application does not define an automatic retention schedule for account, practice, writing, or billing records. Information remains in the relevant systems while it is needed to provide the service, subject to deletion requests and any legitimate operational, legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution needs.

9. Your choices and rights

You can manage information available in your Clerk account portal. You may request correction of account information where applicable, or request deletion of your account and associated personal data using the process below.

10. Account and data deletion

Our deletion information explains the current account-deletion integration and the associated application data that may be affected.
